Zendesk Acquires Makers Of Bime Analytics To Enhance Data Driven Approach To Customer Service

On October 13, customer service technology provider Zendesk announced that it has acquired We Are Cloud SAS of Montpellier, the creators of BIME Analytics. As a result of the acquisition, Zendesk hopes to take advantage of the business intelligence capabilities of BIME to enhance the analytics and data-driven qualities of its customer service platform. Zendesk acquired 100% of the shares of We Are Cloud for $45M. The integration of the functionality of BIME Analytics software into the Zendesk platform is expected to provide Zendesk with impressive data visualization capabilities as well as the ability to run advanced analytics on the prolixity and increasingly heterogeneous constellation of customer-related data sources and attributes.
