When Reliability Matters
While no cloud service provider can claim 100 percent uptime – not all cloud services are created equal when it comes to performance and reliability.
The issue of reliability becomes exponentially more important for large enterprises that are migrating their mission critical business applications to the cloud. For these organizations, downtime is not an option.
Virtustream is independently recognized for its commitment to assuring our enterprise customers the highest possible levels of reliability and performance. According to a recent report by independent analyst Cloud Spectator, we outperformed 14 of the leading infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) cloud providers worldwide, as defined by the 2013 Gartner IaaS Magic Quadrant.
While reliability is of the utmost importance, recovery is a close second. That’s why we have aggressive recovery point and recovery time objectives to ensure that if something does go wrong, downtime is at an absolute minimum.
Your recovery plan should be more than bemoaning the latest instance of downtime to your Twitter followers. It’s about reliability and service. Because in the enterprise, we know if you wait – more than just ice cream will start to melt down.
